Halloween can be Spooky, but here are tips to keep germ monsters away.
Fall is an exciting time. It means, back to school, anticipation of holiday and family gatherings, Halloween, and more indoor time as the weather gets colder.
As fall rolls in, we often see an increase in flu, covid, respiratory illness, pink eye, strep throat among others. We can try to prevent these illnesses using techniques listed on the CDC.
If you can, try to avoid close contact sick people, stay home when sick, cover mouth when coughing/ sneezing, wash hands frequently, avoid touching your face, eat good nutritious food, and get plenty of sleep.
We hope you stay well this season, but if you come down with a minor illness this fall season, keep Welch Care in mind. We offer same day/ next day appointments as well as telehealth for your convenience.
